Purple is the colour associated with pancreatic cancer across the globe. For many, the act of lighting up of a building, landmarks or venues purple on World Pancreatic Cancer Day (the 3rd Thursday in November) symbolises a way to remember loved ones who have sadly died of the disease, as well as celebrate the lives of those that have survived, as well as promoting discussion and awareness of the condition. In this series I have captured some of the many places that have been included.
For this series I have enlisted the help of models and musicians to pose under purple light and share the images themselves within Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month, thus helping spread awareness messages.
